Literacy Reading poam

P1110907.JPGMorning On The Marae

Very exciting,
Looking around for the sea,
Fast wind zooming past,

Find the rising sun,
Follow the birds like a map,
Birds like eating worms.

Wiggle like a worm,
Run from the sun baby worm,
Eating red apples.

Ranginui rising,
Papatūānuku cries.
Kōmaru rises.

Night on the marae,
Sleeping in the wharenui,

Sleep a lullaby.
